Tanya S asked: I live in Upper Manhattan, and have a car so I would be driving. I am looking for overall quality, distance, rentals, not too many kids, possibly without snowboarders, and a lesson for my boyfriend. I want to go for my birthday which is Dec 7 (Sun) but would probably want to go on a weekday. Are the slopes open that early? Is their any way to know if they will be making now?
I said no snowboarders b.c in the past I have had a lot of snowboarders who didn’t know what they were doing crash in to me coming down the slopes. I want to try snowboarding one day myself, but for now I’d rather not have to deal with it ;).

asked: We [my mom, my 13 year old brother, and I] are planning to make a two day round trip to Montreal from Toronto in the upcoming month. I want to take a scenic route (if any), so either by a bus or a train.
What’s the cheapest way to travel (actual fare/cost)? Thanks.

CuriousGirl asked: Hi, I am traveling with my 65-year old mother [I am 27] and I think she likes the convenience of an escorted tour, I wouldn’t mind being more independent, is there an escorted tour people could recommend, as well as the best ways to go about planning a trip as complex as this? I am looking into a package that already has the hotels, airfare, and rail tickets included, so its just the actual day trips I would need to plan.
Thanks!

SChi25 asked: My fiance and I have this annual tradition of a fall long weekend, or day trip, and this year we’d like to go to Wisconsin for a day. Can anyone make recommendations of places to go?
We live in Chicago and don’t want to travel more than two hours and we’d like to go apple picking in the morning, then visit a nice small town with cute shops, maybe go bike riding and then finish the day with a nice (but not too expensive) dinner.
We’re not at all familiar with the Wisconsin area, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
