orang_padang asked:

Can someone give me tips on traveling to Macau from Hongkong? Mode of transport, how much, how long, etc. and most importantly how long should i spend time in Macau. Is a day trip enough? Any recommendations?

Thanks a lot for your answers.

The main method that the majority of people take is the ferry across it takes about an hour to get from HK to Macau by boat. I dont remember exactly how much it was but i think it was around 10 bucks per person. You can drive there but it takes a long time but they are in the process of completing a bridge so that it would be faster in the future but for now the boat is the way to go.

Honestly the only reason why you would visit Macau is pretty much to gamble since its basically a mini Las Vegas now there are so many casinos to goto and easy to get to they have shuttles at a lot of places. if your looking for keep goods then yeah staying in China would probably be better for you. If not i think its better to stay in HK, there are more things to do and its a shopping paradise.
