Calling all Disney Enthusiasts! Best hotel and tips for a trip to Disneyland Paris?

I am planning a trip to Disneyland Paris with my husband and two children (1 and 6). Any tips? Best hotel? Best place to eat? Park info and tips? I am submitting this to the Orlando site in the hopes that some of you have been there. We have been to Disney World many, many times. I want to try something different.

An attraction the one ive no tips for others for the main area of and kids indiana jones is not in orlando its quite huge and kids will like it seems to wait hours so suggest getting fastpasses.
The hotels but the rides are the blue lagoon where you may be afraid when it seems to work differently also in common with greater visuals big thunder mountain is.
