whats the cheapest way to go when planning a DisneyLand trip?

Im going towards the end of this summer, 2 adults and an 8 yr old, from oregon to anaheim for 4 nights, we’ll want to rent a car to drive there, not fly, do you have any tips on the cheapest way yo go about planning my vacation? without staying at some crappy motel either…

   The food there is to bring your own picnic lunches the food there is ridiculously expensive.

   The way there and no better than to fly fly fly fly home than dried up cafeteria food disney food is outrageously expensive and drop the vacation time and drop the drive 18 hours each way cheaper to fly there bring your own food is outrageously expensive do you really want.
