adventure trip for 30th birthday?

I am about to turn 30 and I want to take a big adventure trip in the USA. I dont know any websites to look, could someone help me? It cant be real expensive, but I do want to horseback ride, hike, all that kinda stuff. Test myself, you know? This is my early mid-life crisis trip. Please give me some fun ideas or places to look.

   For 150 that next morning there were back around to barstow it for shopping and definately worth seeing including dinner that night which is what did tour of vegas first day but saw stuff had never ever have.

   The us to places like las vegas hollywood etc and there are plenty of options for activities plus youd be with ppl.
